Confined in Chaos, But Not One With It

Have you ever experienced complete chaos? If your answer is yes, then you might wish to reconsider that answer. For instance, complete chaos would have your entire body and every molecule in it going every which way and thus, you'd probably cease to exist. Well, that would be being one with complete chaos from a scientific definition, but what about in our lives, what is chaos? Some say, they cannot define it, but they know it when they see it.

Not long ago, I mentioned to an acquaintance that I'd experienced chaos a couple of times in my life, and maybe you can indeed relate to this. In surfing when you fall off the board on a large wave, the surf tumbles you like a rag doll, and you often wonder for a few minutes, is this what it's like to drown or die; scary stuff and a terrorizing few minutes indeed. Of course, once you pop back up out on the surface, all is well and all you can say is wow.

Let me tell you of another time when I experienced chaos. A friend who was an aircraft aerobatic champion took me up for a Lomcevak, a tumbling maneuver that has the aircraft literally falling through the air. Complete chaos is all you can think while you are experiencing it all.

Still, my friend asks me; Were you one with chaos, were you chaos yourself, or were you merely observing chaos around you. Ah ha, very good question, and depending on your use of definitions, the answer to any one of those questions could indeed be; Yes!
